Orchitecture - [oo-rchi-tek:-chu:-)re, in NewEnglish] a word combination of orchidae and architectura meaning a person or a group of persons dealing with cross-breeding orchids and architecture. The outcome as for 19th february 2008 at 1:15PM is still not known by neither scientists nor by biodigital experts.
As from the previous studio we´ve learnt a new term repellor, a person trying to attack an living orchid by repelling it is called orchitect [oor-chi-tekt:].
So our process was photo-documenting the orchid obtained from flower shop in Grácia and then cutting it into sections, afterwards getting the sections scanned and then... we don´t know yet what...
This is what we had in the beginning.
A close-up frontal macro.
Labellum front edge with a nice curvature [gor: va-tchoo-v:].Labellum back edge.
Same from rigt side, the front edge.
Same from rigt side, the back edge.
Labellum outside.Labellum in-depth.A longitudinal section.A longitudinal section with small cross sections of the labellum in the background.
The cross-sections of the labellum. From left to right we can read kasiino [kas-ee-nou], what could this mean and could it be a secret message from nature?
Scanning of the labellum cross-sections in progress.
Scanning of the longitudinal sections.
And here are the results.

At the moment we´re continuing with the mood-board, so that is all for the moment.
